Letter from our President
I am constantly amazed at the immeasurable difference a small change can make in someone’s life. From the addition of a ramp, the widening of a doorway or the lowering of a countertop, little changes can often be the difference between independence and reliance.
I started paying attention to the “little things” in 1996, when my son was born with cerebral palsy, and was reminded of them again when my father lost his mobility to illness. It was during my father’s battle that I realized that I could play a small part in helping people regain their independence, and the idea for Accessible Living Solutions was born.
I am never more honored or humbled than when a customer says “thank you”. Knowing that what we do matters makes all the hours we spend in the blistering summer heat or the blustery winters worthwhile. I may not fully know how much of a difference what we do makes in the lives of others, but I do know what a difference their satisfaction means to all of us here at Accessible Living Solutions.
